Women as baby machines!

In some parts of India, we can still see the harsh reality of a women life, even in this modern time, women are still being treated as objects! The whole cycle starts from the birth, from not wanting a girl child or considering a huge burden to raise a girl , this even happened in my own family, when I was born my parents were advised by my grandmother & other relatives to just kill me because I was their second girl child, but my parents never listened to them and I was loved and raised well! But that’s not the topic we will be talking about today!

How women are even baby machine?

Not going any far, just some girl in my neighbourhood got married at 18! It was an arranged marriage, and the boy was 29 yo, so when she got married her in laws kept asking for a grandkid , which I think is a quite common demand of in-laws in India, but the thing that strike my mind is that the girl is still very young, but nobody really cared about her, is she really ready mentally and physically to face pregnancy! The in-laws just cared about having a grandkid! People really marry someone’s daughter just for her to give birth to their heirs and not having a single thought about her own life! The girl I am talking about wad advised by her in-laws to quite her graduation mid way, so that she can look after her child! There are thousands of other girls like her!
